For instructions on how best to apply your decal, please refer to our section How To Apply Wall Decals.
Our Wall Decals are best applied to flat, clean, smooth surfaces, free from dust. Textured walls, wallpaper or brick work etc. will not allow the adhesive to stick. You can easily apply the Wall Decals to surfaces such as: Painted Walls, Glass, Wood, Ceramic, and Stainless Steel. Teflon or Wash and Wear painted walls are not suitable for our wall decals.
If you have a wall that has been freshly painted or plastered, we recommend waiting a minimum of 4-6 weeks before applying our decals to let the paint settle. This will help to ensure they stick correctly, and do not cause any damage when removing.
If applied as per our guidelines, and to the recommended surfaces, our wall decals should not damage your wall on removal. The best way to ensure your wall remains undamaged is to apply to a smooth wall prepped with high-quality primer and paint! A vast majority of the time, our wall decals can be removed without any problems at all, however if they have been applied to a wall with tired or slightly flaky paint work, then it can sometimes be a little trickier. If you find you are experiencing any resistance, simply blow a warm hairdryer on the decals until the edges begin to curl up and then you should be able to continue to gently remove.
Whilst we strive for a 100% guarantee that our decals will not cause you any damage,, we also understand that every wall and paint job is unique. It can be challenging to promise a guarantee for every surface, however we try to provide as much information as possible to help you make the decision as to whether you have the most suitable walls and conditions for our products.
The stickers are slightly translucent, so are best used on a white or lightly coloured wall.
